its funny how fast companies can take off. start pulling just enough profit to stay alive. make grand plans for their future. and then everything falls apart. in a way it felt like i was married to my startup. you put your every effort into making everything work so that someday you can show off. or just be successful. If all goes well you have a wonderful asset to your life. but sometimes things go crazy.

as did this weekend. you push people to their limits and heads butt. it was an unfortunate series of events which is leading to the unraveling of this wonderful little startup that i poured so much time into. but i guess it all happens for a reason.

As i push onward looking for a new venture i will use these events as guidelines of what to do and not to do with my business ventures.

Note-Tech Industries

My shameless plug for my new company…

I recently partnered with three people to form a company called Note-Tech Industries. My boss Micah Hare from my day job, Jordan another co-worker, and my brother Ben. I head up the entire web team with my brother underneath me as my lead graphics designer. Jordan is the lead Technician as we repair iPhones, iPod Touch and, Blackberries. Micah is the manager and lead researcher for products. We also sell iPhone cases and soon more Blackberry accessories.

I hope this someday will be my bill paying job because i really enjoy web design. I also have great expectations to expand into the social network market. I believe that i can help clients by setting up social networking accounts for them and teaching them how to use them to generate more online sales. Or i might just start a team to manage accounts like this where the client would send us updates and we post them in realtime response. We would also optimize their current websites to integrate social network aspects…

These are all ideas i have floating around in my head. Its an ongoing process where i am creating and destroying aspects of our current layout at www.note-tech.com but hey what can i say i enjoy what i do!

conception relationships

the concept of a relationship is something i dont fully understand. two people that have some sort of connection? doesnt that mean everything? the person that i waved to randomly yesterday as i was blasting music driving down the road? but when people use it in an everyday form it falls into friendships and dating. odd. so why dont people just use those two terms they are so much more specific! wow. im confusing myself.

Relationships. fuck. worst term ever. i give up.

sometimes i wonder what people think. its not that i care what they think about me but i just want to know sometimes. more or less to play my conversations off right. up to this point i have been extremely good at reading people. i can tell who is fake and who is genuine. but this skill has become increasingly difficult to use. i have met so many people in the past year and tried to make to many friends. i dont see this as a bad thing. i enjoy the company of others. but its always that random people that i meet and have an interest in becoming better friends that i struggle with. in professional settings i cannot tell if the person is being nice to me because its their job or if they actually enjoy my company. i myself am as genuine as they come. i voice my opinion when it is wanted and sometimes when it is not.

i dont ever want to give away the oppurtunity for friendship. but i also dont want to waste my time pursuing something that will never exist. so where is the balance between the two? is it wrong to want to be friends with everyone?

what gives people the right to give advice. understandable if you know what you are talking about. but when it comes to other peoples lives you dont have a say. am i right? especially personal relationships. what gives someone the right to say you deserve better. god sometimes people need to be shot. you know who you are too. you have done this before. there are reasons why i dont like you and dont want you to be a part of my life. all you do is cause problems. and i am sick of you. so shut your fucking mouth and dont ever talk again.

This world is a massive spinning display of confusion. there is so much that no one will ever be able to explain. things that need explanations. what would it take to understand everything? would your head explode? i believe it would. until i die i dont think i will understand a lot of the things i have gone through in my life. things that i would enjoy explanations to. but i guess i will wait..
